The New Zealand Cycle Classic is the country’s only UCI stage race.  Run by Jorge Sandoval, the Cycle Classic will undergo a transformation in 2019 as it moves away from the Wairarapa to the Waipa region.

Riders from all over the world converge on the New Zealand Cycle Classic; a race that has become synonymous with unearthing the stars of tomorrow.  Many champions of the race have gone on to success at the highest level of the sport.  32 years into the race, the Cycle Classic also sees many of New Zealand’s brightest talents come to the fore, with the opportunity to experience international quality racing in our own backyard.
