Dubbed New Zealand’s original bunch ride, the Forrest Grape Ride is New Zealand’s largest cycling event in the South Island. The event starts and finishes in Renwick, at the award winning Forrest Wines winery.
In 2016 the Forrest Grape Ride was one of the qualifying events of the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, with over 300 riders qualifying for the World Championships in Perth later that year. This year it again retains that status as the only UCI Gran Fondo World Championship qualifying event.
There are distance options for riders from 42km to 101km and 202km in the Magnum event.
