| Litespeed Xicon launched in New Zealand |
|
Litespeed's name has historically been synonymous with the world's most advanced cycling technology and it manufactures more titanium bicycle frames than any other company in the world.
Through their close work with NASA and membership in the International Titanium Association, Litespeed have seized the opportunity to work with the best titanium tubing producers in the world and to develop newer and more consistent varieties of tubing than ever before.
"These partnerships have enabled us to create a new bicycle frame that merges our new relationships with the legendary Litespeed expertise and craftsmanship that has existed for almost 25 years" says Litespeed's New Zealand distributor David Johnson.
The tubing used in the construction of the Xicon has been sourced Internationally, which has enabled Litespeed to produce a frame at an incredible price point for a USA-made, manipulated titanium frame.
Frame details • Asymmetric, Bi-Planar chainstay design ensures 100% of rider power is transmitted to the road, as used on the Litespeed Archon, Icon and Siena
RRP for frame, fork and headset is NZ$4599, more than $2000 less than the previous entry point to the Litespeed range.
The new Litespeed Xicon road frameset will be available in 4 sizes - top tube length 52.5, 54, 56 and 57.
