Georgia Williams claimed her maiden road race crown in style with a fantastic solo effort that took her from some 50km from the finish line to the jersey of national champion.  Williams played to her strengths, having won the individual time trial the day before, she exploited the nasty climb of Hospital Hill to full effect and extended her lead to over 4.30mins by the time she reached the finish line.
