Taylor Gunman is ready to go for Madison-Genesis in the 2018 season, with a new look for the team.  The team have released their kit for the 2018 season which the UCI Continental outfit will be donning in the UK and around Europe.

2018 will be Taylor Gunman’s third year in Madison Genesis colours.  Gunman first rode for the team back in 2016, having moved across to the outfit from Avanti Racing.  One of New Zealand cycling’s proper strong men, Gunman has developed a notoriety for his hard work for others, but has also taken opportunities when they have presented themselves.

Gunman is a former Oceania Road Race Champion from back in 2015, finished third in the REV Classic in 2016 when the race enjoyed UCI status, and won the New Zealand Cycle Classic back in 2015.  2017 presented a busy year for Gunman, with racing on the mainland European continent combining with big outings in Britain at the rapidly more popular Tour de Yorkshire and the OVO Energy Tour of Britain which brought the curtain down on his UCI campaign last year.

Back in New Zealand Gunman was on fine form, taking the win in the stage to Te Anau at the SBS Bank Tour of Southland, before then going on to support teammate James Piccoli to the overall crown.

This year’s line up for Madison-Genesis sees a squad of twelve riders feature just two non-Brits in Gunman and Australia’s Neil van der Ploeg who joins Madison-Genesis from IsoWhey Sports SwissWellness.  The two will be reunited at Madison-Genesis having ridden together back in the team’s Avanti Racing days.
