Stage 2 (183.3km) of the Presidential Tour of Turkey — We are obviously coming to a country like this and never seeing the climbs, you are really unsure if it’s possible for Sam [Bennett] or if it’s not possible, or what the situation is going to be.

The best plan was for me to ride ahead as hard as I could and then I know he is still there, and then try to limit the attacks. Thankfully it went well. One-two for the team. 

It’s Sam’s ninth stage win in Turkey, so successful day.
