The Vital Signs Tour de Lakes is a four-day event in the South Island that provides competition for grades A, B, C and Women’s grades.

Beginning with the Prologue Criterium – 30 minutes plus 3 laps for A & B Grades, 20 minutes plus 3 laps for C & Women – the event takes on the long weekend with road races and individual time trial for the field.

Day two sees the A & B Grades take on an 80km stage to Five Rivers while the C & Womens grades tackle a 45km course.  That is followed by an afternoon stage for all grades over 80km.

The individual time trial takes place for all grades over a 20km course before the afternoon’s 80km stage, before two stages – of 45km and 42km for all grades – finish things off.
