The second running of the Counties Cycle Classic, 2018 sees the event return in October with options for beginners through to experienced cyclists. From 42km to 97km of riding the Rotary Club of Pukekohe are proud to present the event that’s becoming an annual feature on the New Zealand Cycling landscape.
Along with the 42km option for fun cyclists, 52km for intermediate cyclists and 97km for experienced cyclists, the event will also feature a time trial event for electric bikes. Riders will be able to take on a 52km TT course with the electric ride sponsored by Counties Power.
Also on offer will be children’s rides around the V8 track, with 6-11 year olds taking on one lap of the circuit and 12-15 year olds tackling the circuit twice in what is set to be a true family day out. With two weeks to go before the K2 Road Cycle Classic, and 6 weeks until Taupo the Counties Cycle Classic also serves as a great warm up to the big day or as a challenge in its own right.
