Ryan Christensen will line up in a new look Canyon Eisberg squad in 2019 as it brings on board its new title sponsor of dhb and Bloor Homes. 2018 saw Ryan break through into European racing with the team and enjoy success most recently at the Tour of Quanzhou Bay.

At the end of 2018 Ryan Christensen can look back on a busy season that took his career to the next level. With Canyon Eisberg he tackled racing in Belgium, the Netherlands, Britain, Austria and China. November provided one last hurrah in the international season for Christensen as he lined up at the Tour of Quanzhou Bay and took 9th in stage 2 on his way to 5th overall behind teammate and race winner Max Stedman.
In 2019 dhb and Bloor Homes will replace Eisberg as title sponsors of the team, with the outfit now being known as Canyon dhb p/b Bloor Homes. Eisberg will continue to support the team as will Lamb & Watt, Maxxis, Hunt Bike Wheels, Roadwheel, Sidi, 3T, Saddleback, Hayden Brothers and Peaty’s.
Tim Elverson, team owner and sports director, said, “I look back on the 2018 season with a great deal of pride, so it is very exciting to now be moving into 2019.
“I’m confident this squad, with its new additions and existing faces, can once again be incredibly competitive, achieve great success and ultimately deliver the next generation of up-and-coming talent to the World Tour.”
In the ever-changing environment of team setups, where 2018 saw the likes of Shane Archbold and Aaron Gate’s Aqua Blue Sport, Hayden McCormick and James Oram’s ONE Pro Cycling and JLT-Condor all come to an end; Canyon dhb p/b Bloor Homes have benefited with increased support from their sponsors which will continue to benefit young riders and Ryan Christensen into 2019.
