Kiesanowski earns Top 10 in omnium |

The Cantabrian had three solid performances on the second day of omnium racing, finishing 12th in the individual pursuit, 11th in the scratch race and 12th in the 500m time trial.
On the first day of racing she wowed with a fantastic elimination race where she earned the win over current Omnium World Champion Tara Whitten (Canada).
It was American Sarah Hammer (USA) who took the overall omnium title with super consistent results in the six race event. She earned two 1sts, two 2nds and two 4ths. Whitten was 2nd overall and Great Britain's Laura Trott 3rd.
New Zealand finished this round of the World Cup with four medals. Alison Shanks won gold in the individual pursuit and NZ's men's team pursuit also won gold while the women won team pursuit silver and Simon Van Velthooven won the silver medal in the kilo event.

Men's sprint qualifying: Eddie Dawkins (NZL) 10.268, 10; Sam Webster (NZL) 10.326, 13. Round of 8: Dawkins lost to Rene Enders (GER), Webster lost to Njisane Phillip (TRI).
