Dec 16th, 11. Merry Christmas everyone - it is time for RoadCycling.co.nz's off season.  Thanks for sharing another year with us!

While we won't be publishing stories every day during this period, if there is big cycling news we will, at the least, publish the basics on facebook/roadcycling and twitter/roadcycling. 

It has been an up and down season for us, as it has been for many others, but we consider it a privilege to have shared NZ's cycling stories with you for another year.

Thankyou to the riders who were very generous in giving us their time during the international season and for putting up with cameras in their faces during the NZ season. 

Thanks also to our sponsors Cycle Sport NZ, BMC/Capital Cycles and Tineli whose support allowed us to bring you all this year's news, and to the organisers who supported us to get to their events.

Last but not least, thanks of course to our loyal readers who made us feel a part of your community - even though I (Sarah) haven't done one pedal stroke all year!

We hope whatever you are doing and wherever you are this holiday season, you have loved ones around you.
