Now back home in "Roto-vegas", Mangham spent his international season based in Morteau, France with his team VCCM Morteau Montbenoit.

Mangham is one of three kiwis on the team, joining George Bennett and Bradley Aldridge.

"2009 was a pretty cool year tripping round in France and racing and getting a few results while seeing the country," was how Mangham summed up his season.

Mangham is one of the few kiwi international riders who has been able to announce his team plans for 2010.

"I am heading to a dn1 amateur team in france for 2010 called Blois Cac 41, so I'm looking forward to that," he said.

Next races / goals before the end of the international season?

I'm at home now, so time to catch up with mates and cause mischief.

Best ride/result of the season...

Probably in the middle of season at Tour de Cote D'or. It was a category 1 tour and I ended up 4th overall and 2nd in Under23.

Best experience (on or off the bike?

It woud have to be checking out France and seeing their lifestyle and the foods they eat.

Were you happy with your 2009 International season?

Yeah, I was happy how it turned out, and keen to head back for sure.

Are you planning on riding: Tour of Southland, Taupo Classic, Festival of Cycling, Elite Nationals...?

I hope to do Tour of Southland, not 100 percent sure yet though! Taupo and the Elite Nationals will be on the cards.

Main goal for the NZ season?

Just to chill with friends and do some training before heading back to France.
