Wade Mangham wins stage 3 of Tour de la Drome
Mangham is one of three kiwis on the team, joining George Bennett and Bradley Aldridge. "2009 was a pretty cool year tripping round in France and racing and getting a few results while seeing the country," was how Mangham summed up his season. Mangham is one of the few kiwi international riders who has been able to announce his team plans for 2010. "I am heading to a dn1 amateur team in france for 2010 called Blois Cac 41, so I'm looking forward to that," he said.
Next races / goals before the end of the international season? I'm at home now, so time to catch up with mates and cause mischief. Probably in the middle of season at Tour de Cote D'or. It was a category 1 tour and I ended up 4th overall and 2nd in Under23. It woud have to be checking out France and seeing their lifestyle and the foods they eat. Yeah, I was happy how it turned out, and keen to head back for sure. I hope to do Tour of Southland, not 100 percent sure yet though! Taupo and the Elite Nationals will be on the cards. Just to chill with friends and do some training before heading back to France.
