Dec 1st, 11. She has big Olympic track ambitions, but Kiwi Jo Kiesanowski still has road goals too and has signed with US based Tibco Women's Pro Cycling Team for another season.
"It is going to be my 5th year with TIBCO so it's great to be able to stay with them so long," Kiesanowski told RoadCycling.co.nz today from Cali, Colombia where she is preparing for the latest UCI Track World Cup event.
Kiesanowski is working towards representing New Zealand at the inaugural Omnium event in next year's London Olympics. She was pleased to confirm her road team is very supportive of her track goals.
The Cantabrian isn't the only rider in Tibco with Olympic Omnium ambitions though, current World Omnium Champion Tara Whitten has also signed back with the team.
"Linda [Team Tibco founder and manager Linda Jackson] has a strong roster for next year so I'm excited to be a part of TIBCO for another year!" said Kiesanwoski.
"It's also cool that we have a junior team and a development team too."
On naming the 2012 roster, Jackson said the team will be focused on the National Criterium Calendar (NCC) and National Racing Calendar (NRC) events, while also helping the athletes pursue their objectives of making the 2012 Olympics.
