New NZ Criterium Champion Peter Latham continues with Bissell for 2010 (c)Marco Quezada
Bissell Pro Cycling captured the overall team classification wins at many top US races in 2009, the Tour of Gila, Joe Martin Stage Race, Mt. Hood and the Nature Valley Grand Prix. Vennell and Latham contributed to the team's success with both riders eaning podium positions throughout the season. Latham's recent win at the NZ Criterium Championship in Hastings allows him to wear the black NZ Champion jersey in all criteriums throughout 2010. Vennell has been racing in the NZ Time Trial Champion skinsuit during 2009 and will have the chance to defend his title in Christchurch this January. That isn't the only title Vennell is looking for. "I also would love to be the National Road Champion too - the national kit looks so awesome!" he told RoadCycling in July.

“In shaping our 2010 roster, we have bolstered our finishing speed across the board and this will now complement the team’s fantastic time trialing ability,” said team director Eric Wohlberg. “Our new acquisitions are very gifted riders, who specialise in sprint finishes and are known commodities with regard to mixing it up all day long. We are all very excited for the 2010 season to get underway and anticipate some great days on the podium.”
