Small changes to the Bev May Womens tour to encourage more riders |
|
Oct 17th, 12 As the Harcourts Bev May Womens tour heads into the 24th edition, some small changes have been made to accommodate riders of all levels and grades.
Bev May and her team from Morrinsville Wheelers and committee have worked ceaselessly to provide safe and well managed racing over the past years.
The organising committee have made some small changes - the biggest change being that C Grade is now racing only on the Saturday.
We hope that it will encourage more riders which want to participate for fun or have only limited time available. "This tour has everything on offer to riders including time trial, road races with hill climbs, sprints and endurance aspects and the criterium. It is all about participation completion, setting and achieving personal goals. Go out there and give it your best — you might surprise yourself" the organisers told Roadcycling.co.nz
