Tour of Luxembourg begins

UCI World Rankings after Giro d'Italia

gd5menchovadjJun 2nd, 09.  Denis Menchov (Rabobank) now tops the UCI World Rankings after his Giro d'Italia win, with Allan Davis (Quickstep) 2nd and previous leader Heinrich Haussler (Cervelo TestTeam) now in 3rd.

 
Milram won a Columbia Highroad dominated Bayern Rundfahrt

Valverde leads through Catalunya mountain stages

voltacatalunyaMay 20th, 09.  Caisse d'Epargne's Alejandro Valverde has the Volta a Catalunya yellow jersey after today's 163km stage won by Saxobank's Matti Breschel.
 
Criterium to determine Joe Martin winners

May 10th, 09. The 148km and 111km men's and women's road race both came down to peloton sprints today at the Joe Martin stage race, meaning tomorrow's criterium will decide the overall classifications.
