Jan 11th, 10.  Christchurch staked its claim as the cycling capital of New Zealand with Tour de France style crowds and thrilling racing in the first of three times the city will host the National Championships.

Jan 10th, 09. 20 year old Travis Meyer has given his family and his new ProTour team Garmin Transitions the elite men's double at the Scody Australian Open Road Championships.

Jan 10th, 10. Bauer beat out two of New Zealand's pro-tour riders for the top place on the podium and the coveted NZ Champion jersey in today's 186km race.

Jan 10th, 10. The timing of the UCI's denial of Rock Racing's Pro Continental status rocked kiwi Glen Chadwick coming as it did on the eve of the New Zealand Championships.

Jan 9th, 10.  Thousands of fans lined the city streets today to watch the Raboplus Elite Women's Road Cycling championship on a course that includes the 12.5% gradient climb up Dyers Pass Rd. 

Jan 9th, 10. Te Awamutu's Rushlee Buchanan has the NZ Road Champion jersey to add to her NZ Criterium Champion jersey after a superb display up Dyers Pass Road today.

Jan 8th, 10. Gordon McCauley won a record breaking 3rd time trial title today, bringing his total New Zealand Champion titles to nine.  He set a new New Zealand time record as well.

Jan 8th, 10. Michael Vink lived up to his Terminator themed nickname when he powered to record breaking victory in the U23 men's time trial. He was also the 2nd fastest of all riders today.

Jan 8th, 10. Meshy Holt was undeniably the best woman time trial rider at the RaboPlus Elite National Championships as she stood on the top of a truly class podium.

Jan 8th, 10.  Today is the first day of the Raboplus Elite National Road Championships.  The women are the first to race at 10am in Lincoln, followed by the Under 23 men and finishing with the elite men starting at 11:28am

Jan 8th, 10.  Julian Dean is one of the most well known riders for Sunday's National Championship road race. The two time NZ champion knows the value of wearing the black jersey.

Jan 7th, 10. Columbia-HTC's Andre Greipel, the overall winner of the 2008 Tour Down Under, is aiming for a repeat performance in 2010. This time he'll have Hayden Roulston to help out.

Jan 7th, 10.   The RaboPlus Elite National Road Championships start in Christchurch tomorrow where there is high powered competition for the opening event, the women's time trial.

Jan 7th, 10. Jo Kiesanowski doesn't know if she'll be able to compete at this weekend's Elite Nationals road race after she crashed during the Canterbury Track Cycling Carnival.

Jan 6th, 09.  The 2010 NZ time trial champions won't be decided until Friday, but today Australia found it's green and gold champions in Amber Halliday and Cameron Meyer.
