Selle SMP shows off their carbon white saddle |

White carbon - beautiful (c)RoadCycling.co.nz
If you have a white bike, which there were also plenty of on show, this seat would be perfect. And if you have a red, or silver, or black bike, they've also got those colours covered, but we think white is the stand out colour. Apart from "blinging your bike", the saddle has all the benefits of the Selle SMP design to keep your bits in good shape on the longest of rides. Davide Pescarolo of Italiatech, the NZ distributor of this product, had a unique approach to showing off the benefits of this saddle - he sat a skeleton on it! The purpose was to show where the sit bones should rest and therefore where your other bits, male or female, go.
Silver, Red and the new Black Carbon lite for extra cutout (c)RoadCycling.co.nz
Alex from Italiatech shared how these seats help one of the problems many women cyclists face. She has had a lot of feedback that the cutout in the seat has ended the problem of thrush. Their new for 2010 Women's saddle now has a tad extra width and shape to fit the female form. And lads, from personal use I can tell you that Selle SMP seats have been a godsend to marital bliss. Technical details - White Carbon
If your personal saddle isn't as skinny as you would like, SMP have made a wider saddle for 2010, the SMP Forma.
