NZ cycle clothing tested across USA

thumb_phil_3Apr 16, 2009. New Zealand company Untouched World is testing their new cycle clothing range during Phil Keoghan's cycle race across America.

Untouched World have long been known in the cycling community for their great merino undergarments that are well suited to New Zealand's changeable climate. If you haven't tried the feel of MountainSilk under your cycling top you're missing out.

The same product keeps you insulated in winter and cool in the summer months and has just the right amount of flexibility needed for hours in the saddle. Not to mention that it copes with being thrown in the wash with all your other smelly cycling gear time after time.

Untouched World are now taking things one step further. They have kitted out Phil Keoghan (Amazing Race) with not only their undergarments but also with a new technology cycling top and shorts. What better way to test their gear before release than on Phil's high profile 42 day trek across America!

Untouched World won't release details about their exciting new cycling range, but it's bound to be a great mix of design with all natural products that are super easy to take care of.  If Phil can wear them for 42 days across America without stinking, then you know the product is going to survive a few Sunday bunch rides across New Zealand.

Phil has long been a fan of Untouched World and when Untouched World learned of his new adventure, they jumped on board.

phil_mediaUntouched World Design Director Emily Dean says "It was just such a wonderful opportunity for us both, Phil is performance testing a new cycle range we have been developing to the extreme."

"My favourite article of clothing is my Mountainsilk top by Untouched World. It's perfect for layering... perfect for travelling... and unlike synthetic material, it doesn't get smelly. I can't take it off. I'm amazed it stays such great shape". says Phil.

Ben from RoadCycling NZ agrees and can't wait to try out the new cycling range himself.  Let's hope we don't have to wait too long.
