bmcthumb75Mar 17th, 11. BMC has added two great benefits to owners of  their 2011 BMC models.  They have extended the warranty period and announced a crash replacement programme.

"BMC has once again shown the future of customer service," said Paul Davies of Capital Cycles, the New Zealand distributor of BMC bikes.

"Firstly by extending to the customer their commitment to excellence with premier product development and secondly by making it possible to get the bike replaced in a warranty situation, or in the event of an accident, in a happy hassle free environment."

Warranty Extension details

As of model year 2011, all BMC models have a warranty period of three years that can be extended to five years by means of an online registration on the BMC website.

2010 models can also be registered online, but the warranty provisions remain the same for these models.

Crash Replacement details

The crash replacement program makes it possible for BMC customers to receive a discounted replacement for certain BMC models if the bike suffered damage that is not covered by the warranty (e.g. an accident).

This service is offered for model year 2011 on all high-end models of the road and mountain bike range.

A prerequisite for a crash replacement is the prior online registration of the bike.

During the regular warranty period of five years, the frameset can only be replaced once using crash replacement.

The coordination and processing of the claims are performed over the BMC dealer network.

Davies said Capital Cycles is very proud to be associated with BMC, which they believe is the worlds leading bicycle brand.

BMC is a premier partner of RoadCycling.co.nz - thanks BMC!
